It was an opportunity to for her to understand some of the challenges high school students are facing when it comes to their mental health, as well as the supports that are available and how additional funding would help.
As a reminder, this is part of the Wausau School District/Board's process to create a long-range elementary school facilities plan. That plan will focus, in particular, on whether the number of elementary schools in the Wausau School District should be reduced and if so, then how, where, and when.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers visited John Muir Middle School on Wednesday, November 6th to highlight all of the important work our communities and schools do!
WASB recognizes board members for their efforts in leadership and board development through their Member Recognition Program. Points are awarded to board members for their attendance at or involvement in WASB events and programs.
They raised $415 for the Humane Society of Marathon County during a recent Penny War! In addition, they also made dog treats, cat toys, and animal bandanas for HSMC as well!
The task force will meet again on November 13, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. in the Library of Wausau East High School. Note: if you are interested in observing any of these meetings, you are more than welcome to do so.
