Dear Parents/Guardians:

John Muir Middle School’s Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 2, Monday, November 6, and Thursday, November 9.  We are once again using PTCFast.com™ to make scheduling conferences as convenient and efficient as possible. Please enter the following web address into your browser window to access the scheduling site:

All users must re-register each semester by creating a login ID and password with the website.  In addition you must provide a working email address prior to signing up for conferences.  You then receive directions via email on scheduling conferences with specific teachers.  If you do not have internet access, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher to schedule conference times.

A traditional ten-minute conference is available from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on all three evenings. The first quarter of the 2017-2018 school year ends on November 3, and you will be receiving a Quarter 1 grade report shortly thereafter.  Up-to-the minute information on your child’s academic progress is always available on the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus, our student database. You can access the Parent Portal through the John Muir Web Page at johnmuir.wausauschools.org . If you need assistance on accessing the Parent Portal, please call Mrs. Marcia Wood at 715-261-0106 for assistance.

Our goal for Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences is to schedule a time to meet with you on the day that you request. We realize that the length of each conference is short; however, please understand that there are limited hours available. If you are unable to schedule a conference time, please contact your child’s teacher to schedule a phone conference.

Conferencing is one of the best ways to inform you of how your daughter/son is performing in school and answer specific questions.  Sharing information about your child will enable us to provide a learning program that best meets their individual needs.  We strongly encourage your child to attend the conferences with you!

Should you have any questions or concerns about Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences, feel free to contact us.
