Service award from Randy Erdman.

On Wednesday, December 7, 2016,  John Heiting was presented with the Wisconsin Athletic Directors Service Award by Randy Erdman, John Muir Activities & Athletic Director.

The award was created to recognize  individuals who have had a positive impact on student athletes, and who have gone above and beyond in assisting with high school or middle school athletics.

One individual from each Wisconsin Valley Conference school was recognized for their support of student athletes and athletic programs.

John Heiting is a WIAA certified basketball referee at many schools in the Wisconsin Valley and Great Northern Conferences.   He has also coached soccer and baseball at the middle school level.  As Head Custodian for John Muir Middle School, Mr. Heiting also ensures that our athletic facilities meet the WIAA requirements for competition.

We extend our congratulations and gratitude to John for his dedication to  student athletes, coaches, spectators, and the John Muir activities and athletics programs!
